The Vice Chancellor, Federal University Kashere, Professor Mohammed Alhassan Gani has expressed happiness
with the participant bidders for the TETFund 2013/2014 Merged entrepreneurship Development intervention Projects at the university Senate Chambers on Tuesday 26th July,2016. Professor M.A Gani represented by the Deputy Vice Chancellor of the University, Professor S.L Kella, who was speaking at the tender for the projects called on participants to see themselves as partners in progress, working for the development of the whole University system.
The representative of the Registrar who is also the Director Entrepreneurship and Service Learning Dr. S. I Dugguh, urged the procurement Unit to at all times carry out activities that will add value to the University, and formally declared the bidding open.
The representative of the Vice Chancellor unveiled the box containing bid documents which included ten (10) submissions.
Furthermore, comments and observations were made by both observers, contractors and the University Management, where on behalf of the contractors, the chairman praised the conduct of the bidding, the effort of the University in terms of transparency, and as well, wish his fellow contractors good luck.
An observer from the civil society of Nigeria, Mallam Shuaibu M. Shuaibu said he was pleased with the strategy adopted by the institution, focusing on the legal proceeding adhered to. He also urged the contractors to be responsive bidders, and that they were happy with the mutual understanding between the University and the companies involved.
