A team of Consultants from Needs Assessment Project has paid an assessment visit to ongoing projects at Federal University Kashere.
The team leader, Mr. Inuwa Aliyu said the aim of the visit was to study the University environment and also conduct assessment needs to advise on the nature of the soil topography, design, plans for projects and place Federal University Kashere projects free of Challenges.
The Vice Chancellor Prof. Alhassan Muhammed Gani, who took them round the projects sites accompanied by the Director Works and Physical Planning Bldr. Abubakar Dikko, expressed satisfaction with the progress of some projects and urged the consultants to ensure that standards were not compromised. The Vice Chancellor also assured them of prompt payment when completed within the stipulated time.
During the inspection, some areas that needed amendment and additions were noted, and the contractors were advised to make the necessary changes.
Projects inspected included, the prototype Hostel, Faculty of Humanities, Management and Social Sciences (HMSS), Academic Staff Office Buildings, and Entrepreneurship Centre. Others included Building of Classrooms and Offices, 250 Seater Lecture Theater, Auditorium 02, Faculty of Science Complex and I.C.T Centre.
