The University Library is a centre for the University activities. Its main goal is to fulfill the Information resource requirement of its immediate Community.
The Library has five (7) distinct Divisions:
ADMINISTRATIVE DIVISION: Consist of the Librarian, Confidential Secretary, and one Clerical assistant.
INFORMATION RESOURCE DEVELOPMENT UNIT: Consist of one Graduate Librarian as the head of division, and two other Staff. The division is responsible for developing library collections to meet information needs of the University Community and environs.
TECHNICAL SERVICES DIVISION: Consist of one Graduate Librarian as the head of division, and one Library Assistant. The division organise recorded humans knowledge and provide access points to the library Collections.
READERS SERVICE DIVISION: Consist of one library officer 1 as the head of division and nine other staff, it provides charging and discharging of information resources, reference and other related services.
SERIAL DIVISION: Consist of one library officer II as the head of division and two other staff, the division is responsible for selection, acquisition and processing of serials in the library and it also provide services related to serials.
E-LIBRARY: It consist of librarian II as the head of division and one other staff, the division provides access to electronic information resources Via Internet and several Database.
REPROGRAPHIC UNIT: Borrowing privilege is restricted to bonafide members only. Photocopying services are offered by the Library. All photocopying services offered by the Library are charged at reasonable price.
