Philosophy:
The philosophy of the Department guiding the selection and training of students into Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) Degree in Economics and Development Studies is primarily the desire to produce Economists of international standard that will make a positive impact on socio-economic development of Nigeria. It is also meant to produce graduates with high professional and ethical standards that will enhance accountability in the management and development of the Nigerian economy, Africa and the World at large.
Mission:
The mission of the Department of Economics and Development Studies is to contribute to the development efforts of Nigeria, Africa and the World at large by producing selfless graduates with high entrepreneurial skills, patriotism and enthusiasm to make their contribution to both public and private sectors of the economy.
Vision:
The philosophy guiding the selection and training of Students into B.Sc.
